Greg Peebles is the CISO for UofL Health, responsible for all information security and Identity Management. Previously, Greg was the HIPAA Information Security Officer for the St. Elizabeth Healthcare system in Northern Kentucky. Previous roles included Director of IT Security for Omnicare, a Fortune 500 healthcare services company specializing in managing pharmaceutical care focused on long-term care, wholly owned by CVS Health, a Fortune 7 company. In addition to his role at Omnicare, Greg also worked the Systems Security Operations team at CVS Health. Before Omnicare, Peebles led the IT risk and operational risk programs as part of security for Vantiv, the second-largest credit card processor in the U.S. Peebles had also previously led the security and audit practice at Clark Schaefer Consulting. Peebles has a Master's in Cybersecurity and the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CRISC, CGEIT, CIPP/US, CISA, and CIA.
