About Patrick Voon:

Pat Voon has been in Information Technology for 39 years, with 32 years as a cybersecurity practitioner. He started his cybersecurity career at Kaiser Permanente, leading their information security program for 7 years. He spent over 12 years in professional consulting, culminating as a Director leading a GRC, security, and privacy practice, serving Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, as Senior IT Audit Manager at Alaska Air Group, he developed their inaugural enterprise IT audit program. Since 2016, Pat has been Loma Linda University Health’s CISO, where he also serves as adjunct professor of cybersecurity in healthcare. He holds the CISSP, CISA, CGEIT, and CIPM professional certifications. Outside of work, he cherishes time with family and friends, celebrating over spicy Asian meals!
