About Pam Austin:

Pam Austin is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Ballad Health. Pam leads the organization's IT team and operations, overseeing the optimization of governance, strategy, architecture, analytics, security, and technology platforms. She has managed IT strategy, product development, technology assessment, and critical enterprise system changes. Pam has also been instrumental in preparing Ballad Health for the system-wide launch of Epic, the leading electronic medical record system. Austin holds an undergraduate degree in Management from Virginia Intermont College and a Master of Business Administration from King University. She holds certifications in project management, lean practices, and technology infrastructure and systems. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving and traveling with her husband,
