Jigar Kadakia has over 25 years of healthcare technology experience, specializing in security and privacy, AI, implementation, digital transformation, risk management, clinical technology, and operational leadership. As a member of the senior leadership teams for major healthcare and consulting organizations, Mr. Kadakia has consistently delivered innovative programs to modernize companies and prepare them for future growth and digital enablement.
Mr. Kadakia is the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Emory Healthcare. He has most recently served as the Vice President and Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer for Mass General Brigham. Before Mass General Brigham, Mr. Kadakia served as Healthcare Cyber Leader for Deloitte & Touche, where he generated over $100MM in sales, delivering over 70 successful projects to identify and remediate security, cyber, and data protection risks for significant clients.
Mr. Kadakia is an active thought leader in the healthcare technology industry. He publishes research studies and delivers frequent speaking engagements and keynote addresses for HIMSS, Epic, the RSA Conference, the Scottsdale Institute, and more. He is actively involved with the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Mr. Kadakia currently serves as the Board of Advisors Chair for Censinet, Chair of the HIMSS Global Conference Content Committee, Advisory Board Member for MedCrypt, Tausight, and Massachusetts Governor’s Health IT Council member. In addition, he served as a Board Member, Treasurer, and Finance Committee Chair for National Healthcare ISAC.
Mr. Kadakia has earned a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He holds current CIPP, CISSP, CRISC, and HITRUST certifications.
