About Manan Kakkar:

With six years of academic background in Telecommunication engineering, Manan Kakkar currently holds the position of Cybersecurity Executive Director at Providence Health.

In his previous role at EY, Manan was pivotal in establishing the M&A Cybersecurity practice at EY-Parthenon. This involved crafting playbooks for cyber diligence before deals and providing support for integration or divestiture afterward. He collaborated closely with CIOs and CISOs and helped develop operating models for IT and Cyber teams post-transaction.

During his tenure at Deloitte, Manan led comprehensive risk assessments across the entire enterprise. He also devised strategic roadmaps to shift from reactive to proactive security and risk management approaches. Additionally, he led the implementation and operationalization of security initiatives focused on protecting, detecting, monitoring, responding to, and recovering from security risks.

Beyond his corporate roles, Manan has a passion for technology and writing. As a tech enthusiast and writer, he has covered various topics, including existing and upcoming technologies, IT industry mergers and acquisitions, and product strategies. He analyzes how these technologies align with product strategies, their potential impact on the tech landscape, and their application in day-to-day problem-solving scenarios.
